Protest and Fundraiser

Today I went to a pet store protest. I thought we were going to Costco to get sausages because it was right there, but instead we were protesting Pawsh Puppies. My owner says they sell puppy mill dogs and that's bad. I would protest them just because of their stupid name. I didn't think I would like the protest, but it was okay. There were lots of people who were nice to me and a little boy who pet me a lot. Here's a picture of me with the little boy.

You can see some of the protesters in the background. One of them is dressed like a dog. Weird. I didn't like all the honking though. Lots of people honked when they drove by. Why did people honk at me? I wasn't in the way. A guy kept taking my picture too. I don't know what that was about. Here is a picture of me and my human at the protest.
I'm sticking my tongue out. My human is the one wearing the sign. I'm glad I didn't have to wear a sign. Next time I want sausages.

Then we went to the Wild Pug for an American Animal Rescue Society fundraiser. I HATED IT!! First, they have wood floors – everywhere. I don't like wood floors. They're slippery. I tried to not go inside at all, but my human dragged me in. I stopped in the middle of the doorway and she reached behind me and PUSHED me in!! I DON'T LIKE BEING PUSHED!! Inside it was even worse. It was loud and there were lots of dogs running around. There were lots of pugs. I don't like pugs. I suppose there might be a pug somewhere that I might like, but I haven't met one yet. I didn't think much of the other dogs either. And a woman kept taking my picture with a big flash. I stood by a nice man who pet me a lot. I liked him. He was holding a dachshund. I like dachshunds. Not all dachshunds, but most of them. Then some bigger dogs came in and they had bad manners. A pug jumped on me and a big dog kept trying to sniff me. I growled and he went away. I did get some chicken jerky and that was good. But the pugs kept jumping all over the place and I think even my human was annoyed. And then this one dog kept trying to hump other dogs. If he had tried to hump me I would have given him what for and my human knows it, so we left. When I tried to leave all these people and dogs were in front of the door and I was on the wood floors and it really sucked. I was SOOOOO happy to finally be outside again! It would have been a better day if we had just stayed outside. I give the Wild Pug 0 Paws. Even the chicken jerky wasn't worth it. I'm not going back – ever.
